Environment Improvement Project with Chiltern Rangers

Great morning out to support Chiltern Rangers at Spade Oak Lake, Little Marlow

  • One of a range of  ongoing Chiltern Rangers working parties which are being supported and partial funded by the SW Chiltern Community Board.  This particular project is also funded by Little Marlow Parish Council.
  • MBRC members, Paul Bolton and Cllr Carol Heap attended, along with a good number of other local volunteers.
  • The project is to help improve access at this site by widening paths, removing unsafe/badly squirrel damaged trees and opening it up.
  • This helps paths dry in wet winters and hopefully encourage more ground flora too.  The habitat created will be great for hedgehogs and other wildlife.
  • A very enjoyable time out, helping to improve the environment and a habitat for wildlife and walkers alike, whilst befitting from the team aspects, some exercise and  wellbeing.
  • Please Contact us if you would to like to assist MBRC with similar Local Community projects….
