30 Apr Keeping the projects moving forward – MBRC Open Evening 27 April
MBRC held another well-attended Community Open Evening on 27 April – helped to inform and move projects forward….
We has two very informative and interesting presentations from Mike Hyde, Chairman of Marlow Museum and Michelle Sandalls, Manager of Marlow Library.
We all learnt a great deal about both of these superb local organisations and are looking forward to working with them as two of our Community Partners.
Overall updates were given on many other aspects of MBRC and on our associations with such as REPoD and our local Community Board run by Buckinghamshire Council.
It was a pleasure to announce our next Project Partner in Wild Marlow and make the project page live on our web site.
Also, looking forward to supporting the Marlow Wombles initiative when we go out litter picking this Saturday. Marlow Wombles 1st to 3rd May – 100 bags for Captain Tom
The MBRC Community Support Hub concept is continuing to develop very well, and enabling us to support the various club projects. It also means that we can interact with an increasing number of a very wide wide range of organisations. www.marlowbridgerotary.co.uk/local-community-projects
