Rotary push End Plastic Soup at the Marlow carnival

The Rotary Clubs of Marlow Bridge Misbourne Matins and Henley-on-Thames joined together in the Carnival Green Village under the banner End Plastic Soup

To encourage awareness of the problem we gave out bookmarks, hoping that they will be kept and used and not just chucked.  The idea is encourage people to visit 2 specific websites, the first one looking at the plastic problem is a section from the Rotary in the Thames Valley web site – The second is from the site Kids Against Plastic. Set up by Kids for Kids (Hopefully they can teach us adults)

Do have a look, the more the plastic issue gets talked about the better chance there is of something getting done.
