14 Apr Supporting the End Plastic Soup project – first webinar 29 March
MBRC is proud to be supporting the End Plastic Soup project known as EPS
The first webinar for our Rotary District 1090 has been held on the EPS project.
The aim is to have regular progress/discussion meetings on a 3 to 4 month basis, which will be open to all interested Rotarians and others outside of Rotary from our community. We will also have 3 action groups that meet every 4 to 6 weeks basis:
- Education and awareness – Brian Jonson to chair, looking at awareness and education, schools, clubs and other interested organisations
- Encouraging Club Projects and coordinating District Projects – chaired by Gurdial Singh (Rotary Club of Maidenhead)
- Research, Publicity and Lobbying, including identifying sources of pollution, building a reference file and press relations – chaired by Gillian Pearce (Rotary Club of Elthorn-Hillingdon)
Interested in joining EPS?
We are encouraging volunteers, so if you would like to join an action group please email – Brian Jonson – endplasticsoup1090@gmail.com
